Capital Fringe Festival
It's summer time in DC, and that means the Capital Fringe Festival. So get out there and see some cheap, fun theatre! This year the performances have all been consolidated to the Penn Quarter/Mount Vernon area. Almost everything is a short walk away, as opposed to last year where I was busing all over this city. Every city brings its own flavor to Fringe Festival, and DC is no different. The Capital Fringe Festival loves plays related to Shakespeare (I count four this year). DC also like plays about the government, and, apparently, female swordfighting.
