A young man stumbles into a dusty old recording studio run by an enigmatic old woman and her beautiful assistant. Here he is drawn into an ancient and powerful world of Jewish mysticism and Kabbalistic ritual and discovers that he may be something more than he had ever imagined. This production introduces Washington to Jason Grote, an exciting young voice in American Theatre, exploding in regional theatres across the country.

A musical embracing the life and times of Nelly Bly, New York’s first female reporter. Bly first made a splash in journalism by going undercover at the Women’s Insane Asylum at Blackwell Island. Bly went on to become the first woman to work as a war reporter, She eventually patented the first steel barrel and went on to run a large company - all before women were allowed to vote in the U.S.
